Well, these made quite the impression. I can’t remember what they tasted like at all. (So much for documenting and reporting- sorry!)
Lewis says they were very meaty and delicious. They were easy to slice and had a wonderful aroma to them. They did seem to take forever to ripen.
I do remember that they were very heavy, solid.
